COLOURING COMPETITION :
“In nature, light creates the colour. In the picture, colour creates the light.”
Colouring competition was conducted on 21st April 2023 for classes I and II. The little artists participated in the competition with great zeal and enthusiasm and at the same time took great care to colour their masterpieces with their creativity. Colouring helps to enhance focus, concentration and develops visual perceptual skills, precision skills in grasp. The students coloured beautifully in the picture given to them and exhibited their skills by filling colours in it. The fun they had is certainly going to add a new innings to their colourful childhood memories.
PICTURE WRITING COMPETITION :
“Imagination is the spark that ignites the power of Creativity.”
Picture writing competition was organized at Army Public School Kamptee on 21 April 2023. The objective of the competition was to ignite the fire of imagination and creativity in the students. Students of classes I to V participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in the competition. Such activities help the child to develop creativity, improve vocabulary and also help the students to think critically. All the students participated in the competition with immense keenness and revealed their power of imagination and creativity.
STORY WRITING COMPETITION :-
An activity of story-writing competition aiming at engaging the students for creative writing was organised for classes VI to IX as a part of CCA activity. The objective of the event was to empower students to predispose themselves towards writing and encourage them to present their imaginative thinking on paper and promote effective writing skills. All the students exhibited their best of imagination and creativity through the competition.
LABOUR DAY
To salute the painstaking effort of the labour force, Labour Day was celebrated at Army Public School Kamptee on 1st May 2023 with immense warmth and zeal. Labour Day is a reminder for all of us that these are the architects of our society, and they deserve their due respect. A short assembly was executed by class X students to raise awareness among pupils. Students expressed gratitude by giving self-made greeting cards to the maids, peons, and guards of the school. Students were enlightened about how the contribution of labourers to our society and how they are the key components of the growing economy.
AWWA ROLLING TROPHY ETHICS BOWL COMPETITION :-
Army Public School Kamptee participated in cluster-level Ethics Bowl competition which has been organized by AWWA for all APSs between April August to train and groom students in the art of collaborative argumentation and discussions on moral issues. APS Kamptee comes under cluster 6 which has four schools APS Kamptee, APS Mumbai, APS Devlali and APS Ahmednagar which had hosted the event too. It was an online mode competition. Teams were selected to compete against each other. APS Kamptee had its first match on the 24th of April against APS Devlali giving a tough fight to Devlali Kamptee won. Our team including students Srishti Singh (XIIA), Suhasini Shukla (XIIA), Harshal Butolia (XII A), Yuvraj (XB), G Pritha (XB), Nidhi Wagh (XC) prepared well under the guidance of Principal Mrs. Rakhi Acharaya along with teachers Mrs. Maninderjeet Kaur (TGT English), Mrs. Shashi Pillai (PGT Geography) and Mr. Ghanshyam Tiwari (PGT Political Science). The second match was on the 1st of May between APS Kamptee and APS Mumbai. APS Kamptee made the school proud by winning this match ultimately made its way to the command level. Dates and Venue are yet to decide for the same. As a team, APS Kamptee is looking ahead to healthy competition and success.
